Jakarta - The Perhimpunan Bank-bank Internasional Indonesia (PERBINA) held its 2018 Annual General Members Meeting, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on 26 April 2018. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officers or appointed representatives of member banks.
At the meeting, Batara Sianturi, Chairman of PERBINA (who is also the President Director of Citibank Indonesia) delivered a welcome speech and updated members regarding members' matters, PERBINA's action and effort as well as industry development regarding the matters. Members also discussed and exchanged views and perspective. Daniel Rembeth, Perbina’s Secretary General provided further input and comments. During the meeting, PERBINA also appointed a new Executive Board Member, PT Bank ICBC Indonesia.
In addition, on this occasion, PERBINA invited Niki Luhur, Chairman of the Fintech Indonesia Association and founder and Chairman of Kartuku - Indonesia's leading independent end-to-end payment infrastructure platform. In his presentation, Niki explained about the development of fintech in the world and in Indonesia in particular.
Other agenda items at the meeting included adoption of Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2017, the appointment of the Public Accounting Firm to audit the Financial Statements for the year ending 31 December 2018 and the Executive Members’ elections. The 10 Executive Members will serve for the period to next year’s Annual General Meeting. The meeting ended with dinner.
